Manhattan City Council member Julie Menin joined “In Focus” to discuss the New York City Office of Healthcare Accountability.
Menin co-sponsored the legislation that City Council passed and the mayor signed. It will create an office that provides health care cost transparency across all hospitals in the city. The office will be implemented next year.
